Lamprey River Recent Measurements
The Lamprey River monitoring site is located in the tidal portion of the Lamprey River in downtown Newmarket, NH approximately 300m downstream of the head of dam at Route 108. The system is mounted on an old piling.
Urban stormwater, adjacent marina and parking lots, wastewater treatment plants both upstream and downstream and upstream agriculture play a role in the water quality of Lamprey River.
